They are brilliant when you want to stand out from the crowd by choosing to be deliberately different. They make fantastic lookbooks and portfolios or publications for specific shared interests and hobbies. Zines are a great style of publication for indie magazines.
If you're looking for something that appears disruptive, a zine is the publication style for you. They are rough and ready but in a deliberate way. Their style reflects the days when underground publications were illicit so were quickly spun up, laboriously photocopied, and dog-eared from being shared. You can order A4 and A5 in portrait or landscape from just 1 copy. If you’re after a different size, you can still order from just 1 when choosing 130gsm or 170gsm self-cover. For all other options, the minimum order is 25.
