What’s the difference between Flyers and Leaflets?

When we refer to a Flyer, we’re talking about a flat sheet of printed paper. Flyers are most commonly A5 or A6 in size and short in messaging. A Leaflet is typically a bigger sheet of paper which has been folded. They tend to hold more information and when laminated are designed to be kept a little longer.

You might have seen a Folded Leaflet menu, something as detailed as an extensive menu would require more space and layout capabilities that are only available with folding. Flyers on the other hand, would more typically have a small amount of digestible information that could then be tossed in the recycle bin. They’re both low in cost and provide a great marketing tool, but serve slightly different purposes. If it’s a Leaflet you’re looking for, we print them too

What are the different Flyer sizes available for print?

We offer a wide range of sizes from Square and DL to the standard A4 Flyer printing. Some paper stocks are available in fewer sizes, but generally you can expect to see:

• 105mm square, 148mm square, 210mm square  
• A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 Flyer printing.
• 1/3 A4 DL (98 x 210mm)

If you’re looking for a specific size, we offer custom size which comes in anything from 100-297mm in width by 100-420mm in height.

What is the best paper material for a flyer?

You don't want anything too thin so stick with something around 120gsm -130gsm in a gloss finish for something a bit shiny.  Of course if you're looking for a matt finish, you can choose an uncoated paper or you can choose to laminate your flyers with a matt, gloss or soft touch lamination.  This adds to their longevity a little and helps avoid scuffs or marks. A bestseller would be a 130gsm gloss finish for us.

Is glossy or matt better for flyers?

There is no definitive answer here, it is whatever finish feels right for your brand and message.  Get a "homemade and crafty" look with a Kraft flyer; go ultra glossy for a lip gloss commercial flyer -  you can make your flyer finish work for your own message.

What are your delivery times?*

Production begins as soon as your order is confirmed and any artwork is approved. We strive to meet the estimated delivery timeframe provided; however, please note that occasional delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances with couriers, which are beyond our control.

Can you perforate flyers?

Absolutely! If you’re looking for a perforated option, our ticket printing service could be a great fit. We offer tickets in both A7 and DL sizes, and these include perforation as part of the design.

Is VAT charged on printed flyers?

VAT is not charged on printed flyers as long as they are between A4 and A7 in size, printed on paper less than 300gsm, and use any stock other than uncoated.
