Yes, the total page count includes the covers. The cover comprises the outer front, outer back, inner leaf and penultimate page. Each leaf is fully printable.

Yes. Include a 3 mm bleed all around and keep important content at least 5 mm away from the trimmed edge to avoid it being cut off.

No. Provide the artwork in single-page format with each page the correct size in running order; do not supply as spreads or paired pages.

For a more distinctive finish on your saddle-stitched cover, we offer four premium stocks: Tintoretto Gesso, Woodstock Bettula, Twill, and Pearl Icewhite. Each brings a different texture or finish, giving budget-friendly booklets a more considered look without changing the binding itself. Tintoretto Gesso A 240gsm uncoated stock with a laid, fabric-like texture and a warm, off-white tone. A good option if you want your stapled booklet to feel more crafted than standard gloss allows. Woodstock Bettula A 285gsm uncoated stock with a soft, felt-like surface and visible fibre flecks, in a pale birch-toned white. Suits programmes, zines, or brochures aiming for a natural or artisanal feel.

Twill A 300gsm stock with a fine, woven texture inspired by fabric. Adds a tailored, premium edge to short-run brochures and event materials. Pearl Icewhite A 300gsm stock with a subtle pearlescent shimmer over a crisp white base. Works well for invitations or promotional booklets wanting a touch of shine without going for a heavier binding style. Lamination is available on stocks over 250gsm, so Woodstock Bettula, Twill, and Pearl Icewhite can be laminated. Tintoretto Gesso, at 240gsm, is intended to be used as is, without lamination.

Our 40-point preflight check is an automated artwork inspection that runs when you upload a print-ready file using the Just Print service. It quickly scans your PDF for key technical issues and either fixes or flags common problems so your file is ready for printing. The check includes verifying file type and size, checking for corrupt or password-protected files, ensuring fonts are embedded, converting colours to CMYK, setting trim and bleed boxes, adjusting line weights, flattening layers and transparencies, correcting orientation and scaling errors, reducing excessive ink coverage, down-sampling very high-resolution images, and more. If something can’t be fixed automatically, you’ll be notified to correct it before printing

A saddle-stitched booklet contains 8-64 pages and must have a total page count that is divisible by four (e.g. 8, 12, 16 pages) because of how they are folded and stitched.

Yes. When you upload your artwork with the File Check option, you can use an interactive proof to flip through a virtual version of your booklet and verify page order, layout, and content before printing.

Large print is entirely in your gift to give, simply make the font size as large as you like on your documents. We currently do not offer braille.
