Our Foam Board Signs come in a range of materials, thicknesses and sizes.

Looking for an affordable high-density sign foam? 5mm KAPA®tex or KAPA®plast are your best choice. They’re our more affordable foam core signage options, with two different print results. Choose KAPA®plast for vivid colours and lifelike reproductions or KAPA®tex for a canvas-like feeling, both in texture and appearance. These are our lightest options, so ideal for hanging as signs. 

Select the dimensions to suit your signage from 200 – 1350mm in width x 200 – 2800mm in height.

Need something a little more chunky?

Being 10mm thick, Smart-X® is lighter and more solid - making it ideal for direct digital printing. Whether you’re printing out life-sized cutouts or creating a large wall print, Smart-X® signs can be used both indoors and outdoors. Our Smart-X® is available from 200 - 1500mm in width x 200 - 2800mm in height. While Foam Board Signs are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, they are not suited for prolonged exposure to the elements or large temperature fluctuations when fixed in place. For a long-lasting display with a professional look, we would recommend our Di-Bond Signs.

These boards can be drilled into easily allowing them to be fixed to a surface.

Technical Specification for Custom Foam Signs

• Please add a 3mm bleed on all sides.

• Supply your file in full CMYK print.

• For best printing results, supply a PDF file format – What is a PDF x1a:2001?

• Embed all fonts, alternatively, you can outline them.

• The resolution of images should be 150 dpi.

• Safe Zone should be at least 5mm away from each edge, ideally 10mm for the best results.

• To avoid disappointment, we recommend a minimum font size of 18pt and a line weight of 2pt for this product. Please have a look at our

Custom shape boards

If you require cutting to a custom shape and drill holes, please supply your file in the following format:

• Artwork for print

• Drilling path – A 100% Yellow spot colour named Cut contour drill with the line weight set to 0.25pt.

• Cut path – A 100% Magenta spot colour named Cut contour with the line weight set to 0.25pt.

All paths should be stroke paths and contain no fill. We also recommend that drill holes centres are positioned at least 25mm from the edge and the path is at least 5mm in diameter.
