Embed all fonts, alternatively, you can outline them.
The resolution of images should be 150 dpi.
Safe Zone should be at least 5mm away from each edge, ideally 10mm for the best results.
If you choose to have drill holes, please keep all important elements at least 25mm away from the drilling area.
To avoid disappointment, we recommend a minimum font size of 18pt and a line weight of 2pt for this product. Please have a look at our Help Centre article for more details.

Foamex Printing FAQs
Foamex is a rigid PVC foam board. A solid PVC sheet that is lightweight yet sturdy, with a smooth surface. It’s suitable for both short term indoor and outdoor use and can be printed on either side.
Drill holes are 5mm wide and will be in the top two corners. If all sides of the part are 400mm or more, drill holes will be placed 30mm from the edges. If any side is less than 400mm, drill holes will be placed 15mm from the edges. Make sure to keep important design elements away from these drilling areas. The drill hole options are shown above and are typically placed in the corners - all 4 corners or the top 2 corners.
You may be exceeding the maximum size we can offer for upload & print - (3048 × 1524 mm (10 ft × 5 ft) If you need a bigger board, call the sales team who can place a custom order for you.
Foamex boards can be printed in standard A sizes (A4, A3, A2, A1, A0) and some square sizes. Standard full sheets stocked are up to 3048 × 1524 mm (10 ft × 5 ft), so you can also create custom-sized boards.
Yes. Foamex is water-resistant, making it work for temporary outdoor signage as well as indoor displays
Foamex is a sturdy, rigid material. With UV-cured inks and optional lamination finishes, printed boards resist fading and remain vibrant, with a typical indoor lifespan of around 3 years (add lamination to extend their life)
Yes. If you’re supplying artwork for print, typical guidelines include:
Provide artwork in CMYK colour format (not RGB)
Use a layout scaled 1:1 with 3 mm bleed on all sides.
Ensure sufficient resolution and avoid placing important design elements (e.g. text, QR codes) too close to drill-hole or cut areas.

The thickness is what offers rigidity, so the thicker you go, the sturdier the board and the less flex you get.

To order multiple boards at a time, simply choose the “different designs” option. If you selected “2 Designs” and “Quantity 250” you would receive 250 of Design 1 and 250 of Design 2. The product specification and quantity per design will be the same, but will always be the quantity selected multiplied by the number of different designs
Yes, you can order boards cut to a custom shape, and boards with pre-drilled holes for easy installation. Our boards go up to 3048 × 1524 mm (10 ft × 5 ft)
Yes, Foamex printing can be done on one or both sides (‘single or double-sided’) depending on your needs.
