Our labels are suitable for various applications, including: Wine bottle or spirit labels, food packaging, high-end labels for luxury brands, foiled stickers, freezer labels, closure labels or takeaway labels.

You can choose from our range of stocks, with full information available in the technical specification tab. Check out our Labels for Labelling Machines page if you need to alter image positions or label gaps.

We offer a Stickers & Labels Sample Pack. Get £15 off your order for labels on a roll, custom sheet stickers, kiss cut or die cut stickers when you purchase this pack. You can order or download our Sample Pack PDF here - Stickers & Labels Sample Pack PDF

Pro Tip: There is a 2mm margin of error for movement on all stickers. This means that even if your design is perfectly centred when you submit it, there is a chance that it may shift slightly during printing. We, therefore, don't recommend the use of borders and line borders. Sticker Set-Up Recommendations

Labels on a Roll FAQs

Labels on a roll are adhesive labels supplied wound around a core for easy handling, storage, and application, perfect for packaging, products, shipping, and branding. They come in standard shapes like circles, squares, rectangles, ovals, and custom shapes.

Yes. Labels on a roll are supplied on a standard 76 mm core and are compatible with many commercial label applicators and dispensers.

When you enter your total quantity at order, we divide that number across rolls based on your chosen roll size. For example, if you order 1,000 and choose 2 rolls, you’ll get 500 labels per roll.

Yes. For custom die-cut shapes, include a vector cutting guide on a separate layer named “KissCutting” with a 0.25 pt spot colour stroke set to 100% magenta.

Yes. Include a separate “finishing” layer with vector artwork for hot foil or raised gloss effects. Minimum line weights and gaps apply to ensure quality.

Yes, the minimum font size is 10pt

You can pick from a variety of sizes and substrates including paper, polypropylene (PP), clear film, and metallic-look finishes.

Roll direction (or unwind direction) refers to how the labels come off the roll. Some machines require a specific orientation - top, bottom, left, or right edge leading, so check your applicator before ordering.

Upload a high-resolution PDF (preferably PDF/X-4a) in CMYK colour mode with at least 3 mm bleed. Make sure fonts are outlined or embedded and images are at 300 dpi.

For transparent, metallic, black or gold substrates, you can add a white underpin. For selective white, create a separate “White” spot colour layer with objects set to overprint. If you are ordering a solid fill white underpin, no underpinning is necessary within the artwork document, as we will add this for you to the whole of the design automatically.

Don’t place fine borders too close to trim edges, as slight movement in roll printing can misalign thin borders. Keep key elements inside safe zones to avoid them being cut off. Allow a 2mm margin of error, even if you have perfectly centred your artwork before submitting it.

Yes, minimum line weight should be 1pt. Be careful with lined borders, as there is a risk of slight movement in printing, which can cause them to misalign ever so slightly.
