Do you deliver business cards within the UK?

Yes, absolutely, we deliver business cards UK wide. Delivery is included, however, some exceptions apply.

What are your business card delivery times?*

Production begins as soon as your order is confirmed and any artwork is approved. We strive to meet the estimated delivery timeframe provided; however, please note that occasional delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances with couriers, which are beyond our control.

What are Spot UV business cards?

Spot UV business cards have an ultraviolet gloss coating on selected areas to give your design a stunning glossy finish. It’s best suited to large patterned or solid areas as this has a greater impact on the overall design.

Can I print a business card in portrait?

Yes, all you have to do differently is set your artwork to 55×85mm (portrait), add 3mm bleed (total 61×91mm), use CMYK at 300dpi, keep text 3mm from edges, then rotate the first page 90degrees anti-clockwise and 2nd page 90degrees counter-clockwise and export as a 2-page PDF.

Luckily for you, we have templates for every business card we print and they are free to download on each product page.  Alternatively, we have an online designer so you can design online if you don't have design software skills.

What is a good amount of business cards?

Our most popular quantities tend to be 250, 500 or 1000 but you can buy as few as 50 or as many as 50,000.  

Can I design my business cards online?

Yes, we have a simple drag & drop canvas where you can upload your own imagery, logos and assets.  It's super easy and there's a 3d preview so you can see your card before you confirm your print.  

Need to come back later?  Save your progress, download the pdf file and reupload it the next time you come back so you can pick up where you left off.

What else are business cards useful for?

So many things, you just have to think small to find those big marketing ideas. Yes, we have a simple drag & drop online design tool and it is free to use.  Upload your own imagery and logos and drag them into position, add your name, number and socials and preview in the 3d design window before confirming and sending to print.

Which business cards are best for you?

With such a large number of materials and styles to choose from, creating your business cards can take a bit of thought. From classic and folded business cards, right through to luxury foil business cards, it’s worth doing your homework before you decide on what impression you want to make.

If you’re just looking to get your business started, a classic business card would be your best option, but if you’re an established wedding planner or luxury spa owner a pearl paper stock would compliment your brand perfectly. If you’re not quite sure, check out our handy guide for inspiration.

Do you offer business cards in full colour with a Pantone colour?

We print all business cards in high-quality full colour using the CMYK process. Pantone printing isn’t available, but CMYK allows for a wide and vibrant colour range suitable for most designs.

When do you use litho or digital printing for business cards?

We can’t guarantee whether an order will be printed digitally or litho, as this depends on the paper stock, quantity, and current production capacity.

As a general guide, business cards on 300gsm or 350gsm are usually printed digitally, while 450gsm is typically printed litho due to the heavier stock.

What is the average cost of 100 business cards?

100 business cards is a good starter-for-ten and should cost no more than about £15 ex vat depending on the card type and finish you choose.  We also offer free delivery...

Do business cards work anymore?

Absolutely they do - YES!  But think of them slightly differently nowadays when social networking sites exist and digital networking feels the norm.  Business cards can also be appointment cards, loyalty cards, backing cards for products, thank you cards as well as a standard business card.  Think of them like books, do you prefer a book or a Kindle?  Cater to all preferences when networking and you will win hearts, minds and DMs.

Are business cards still valuable?

Yes, of course.  They're tangible and have a longer shelf life than a handshake and a hello but you;re missing a trick if you think business cards are just for handing out on first meetings.  Think of them as mini marketing tools - they don;t just have to have your name on them, they can be thank you cards, promotional cards, jewellery backing cards, appointment cards, loyalty cards - anything you need for our business that is palm-sized and portable,

Do I still need business cards?

What is the point of a business card?

Great question in the world of LinkedIn and online networking but the point is simple.  It's a small token of intent to communicate, an offering for being open to a conversation with someone.  Business cards communicate in an effective way and cannot replace a DM on a social networking site.
