Many people now pay attention to the branding of packaging they use to offer a consistent brand message and consistency across all channels of communication.

All our packaging boxes are made with premium materials that will showcase your product just as it should. However, if you wish to elevate the experience, applying lamination will really make your packaging stand out. Choose from a Gloss or Matte lamination to give it a sheen that will catch the buyer's eyes.

You can always add branded tape or some attractive closure labels to add an elevated style.

Yes, our custom printed boxes are perfect for Royal Mail postage! Here’s how it works:

• Small Parcels: If your box is no larger than 45 cm x 35 cm x 16 cm and weighs up to 2 kg, it’s good to go for small parcel postage.

• Medium Parcels: For slightly bigger boxes, those up to 61 cm x 46 cm x 46 cm and weighing up to 2 kg, you can use Royal Mail’s medium parcel service.

As long as your box fits within these size and weight limits, it’s all set for Royal Mail delivery!

Not exactly.  You can repeat your design but there will be vertical breaks in the printing process which means that each repeat pattern will have a small, blank space where it repeats.  this is perfect for printing tape with a logo repeat but not for a continuous pattern.

We also recommend that you leave a little border at the outer edges of the tape,

Classic paper bags - We recommend that you do not fill the bag with items weighing over 1.5kg. Plenty of durability for holding small, lightweight items.

Bottle bags - suitable for standard bottles such as wine, olive oil or other bottled gifts.

Takeaway bags - the largest bag can hold up to 8kg in weight.

We have a huge selection of boxes that can be printed both inside and outside. On some styles, that depends on the cardboard substrate you choose, but this is clear on each page when you are selecting your specs.

Many boxes can be ordered from a single box, so you can buy one to see the quality before you commit. Some boxes start from 25 boxes per order as the minimum quantity for samples.

Yes, to reorder the same design, there are two options.

1. Save your own print-ready artwork to reupload for your next order

2. Use our online designer and save a PDF proof, which you can later reupload for your next order.

Our simple crash lock boxes are great for cosmetics, as there are so many configurable sizes. You can create a simple lipstick packaging or body scrub packaging in the same range.

Pull-out boxes might be better if you're planning to create a cosmetic set.

It depends on the product, the substrate and the finish you choose. Plain or lightly coated paper and board is widely recyclable through standard kerbside and mill streams. The things that compromise recyclability are plastic film lamination, foil, and heavy UV varnishes and inks, because standard paper mills cannot pulp them cleanly.

UK industry guidance, the CPI Design for Recyclability Guidelines, recommends keeping these problematic components under 10% of pack weight, with 5% as the goal. So a coated or varnished item can still be fully recyclable, depending on the type and coverage. A plastic-laminated one usually is not.

If recyclability is your priority, talk to us before you finalise the spec. We can help you choose a finish that protects the look you want without losing the recyclable claim.

We would steer you away from using biodegradable as a standalone claim. Almost everything breaks down eventually, so on its own the word tells your customer very little, and unqualified green claims are exactly what the CMA Green Claims Code is designed to catch.

If a product genuinely is biodegradable, the claim needs to state the standard, the conditions and the timeframe. Otherwise, it creates risk rather than value. In most cases, recyclable or certified compostable is the stronger and more credible message.

Yes. Our doypacks or packaging pouches as they are also known, are printed with low-migration ink that is specially designed with the food industry in mind. The material has a special coating that seals in the ink, restricting it from contaminating the product inside. These packaging pouches are perfect for sweets, coffee, or even protein powders.

Our Packaging Tape is fully customisable with your own artwork and has 3 materials to choose from. The design is pad printed onto the tape; we need your design to be supplied as a vector and in PANTONE® or Spot Colours (full instructions are on the product page).

Not at all. Our Crash Lock Boxes come pre-glued and creased but are still supplied flat for easy storage. All you need to do is pop the box into place and you have an instant box. Saving you time and storage.

Yes, many of our packaging products can be customised online, though it does vary slightly depending on the item:

Most of our boxes (apart from bottle boxes) include a 3D online designer, so you can see your artwork in place as you create it.

Paper bags show a visual of your design on the bag.

Our pouch packaging lets you design directly on the pouch shape, with guides for safe zones and hanging hole placement.

Tape doesn’t currently have an online design option, but don’t worry, we offer handy templates across our entire packaging range to help you get started.  If you're really stuck, we can design it for you at a small additional cost.

Shippers and mailers are from a single box, although you will get a better quantity break when you order more in one go, up to 200 boxes.

Our bespoke and decorative boxes tend to be from 25 right up to around 5000 or 1000 boxes per order.

Yes, but compostable is a specific, testable claim, not a general one. To be called compostable, packaging needs to meet a recognised standard such as EN 13432 for industrial composting. The important detail is that industrially compostable material needs an actual industrial composting facility to break it down, and access to those varies across the UK, so a compostable pack will not always be composted in practice.

Home compostable is a separate and higher standard again, as shown by certifications such as TUV OK Compost Home. Plain, uncoated paper and board are generally the safest route here. Add laminates or certain coatings, and you can lose the claim.

We will only describe something as compostable where it meets the relevant standard, and we will tell you which standard and which disposal route applies.

Plain paper and board usually give you the cleanest, most defensible story, often recyclable and home compostable at the same time. The moment you add laminate, foil or heavy UV finishes, you start trading away one or both.
