Technical Specifications for Shiel Soft Touch Brights Stylus Pen

Laser engraving uses a focused laser beam to burn or etch your design directly onto the surface of a product. Instead of adding ink or colour, it creates a precise, permanent mark by removing the top layer of material. This method is perfect for detailed logos or text and is commonly used on metal, wood, glass, and coated items. The result is a clean, high-contrast finish that won’t fade or wear over time.

Top Tips:  

  • Please supply artwork using a spot colour named 'Engraving' and set to 100% black only.
  • Avoid fine lines and intricate details.  
  • Use a minimum font size of 8pt.  
  • Flatten your design and avoid using overprint settings to ensure all elements print exactly as intended.  
  • Outline all strokes by converting them to shapes.  
  • Don’t use gradients in your design
