NCR Book Printing FAQs
An NCR Book is a bound set of carbonless duplicates (like 2-part, 3-part or 4-part sets) used to create instant copies of handwritten or printed documents without carbon paper. Each book typically contains 50 sets stitched together with a sturdy cover and backing.
They’re most commonly used as personalised invoice books, receipt books, delivery logs, order forms, and other business paperwork where keeping a copy is important.
You can choose 2-part (duplicate), 3-part (triplicate) or even 4-part (quadruplicate) configurations, depending on how many copies you need from each form.
Yes. You can personalise NCR Books with your logo, company name, contact information and full-colour artwork to ensure a professional, branded look.
Yes. You can choose numbered sets to help with organisation and record-keeping throughout the book
NCR means No Carbon Required. The special carbonless paper transfers writing from the top sheet to the copy sheets underneath using pressure, so you get duplicates/triplicates immediately.
NCR Books are available in popular formats like A4, A5, A6, and DL, so you can pick the size that best suits your business needs.
Each book has 50 sets of NCR paper, a strong uncoated cover, a grey backing board, and is stitched and taped along the spine for durability. Pages are perforated near the spine for easy tear-off.
Only the top sheet is double-sided. Avoid highlighting or adding background colours to sections meant for writing (e.g., the "Total" field on an invoice). Doing so may prevent the text from transferring onto the duplicate sheets.
Download the template from the product page and follow the artwork guide to ensure print areas and non-printable zones are set correctly. Avoid placing text or graphics in the non-printable edges.
