Screen printing is a traditional print method where ink is pushed through a mesh screen onto the product, using a stencil to create the design. Each colour is applied one layer at a time, making it best suited for bold, single-colour graphics and solid shapes. Known for its durability and crisp finish, screen printing is ideal for simple logos, text, and high-volume runs on flat or slightly curved surfaces.

If you’d prefer to use your own design software to create your artwork, we’ve got some tips to help you design your print-ready file.   

Top Tips:   

• Avoid fine lines and intricate details.   

• Use a minimum font size of 8pt to maintain readability.   

• Outline all strokes by converting them to shapes.   

• Don’t use gradients in your design   

• Ink may spread slightly during transfer—avoid designs with tight gaps or very closely spaced elements that could blur or merge.
