In short, yes they are but not on a stormy day... We find that teardop flags, crest flags and feather flags are great for catching the eye.  Their organic movement acts as a gentle wave to passersby who cannot help but look at them.  

Good question, yes you can. Treat it gently and wash in a regular washing machine at 30 degrees celsius with everyday detergents. Don't tumble dry, bleach, dry clean or iron and fold once its completely dry.

We offer a range of base options for our flags, depending on your intended use and the size ordered. Ground spikes are ideal for advertising at festivals and events while on the move, whereas our water bases and concrete options are better suited for shop fronts and more permanent placements.

All of our flag bases are interchangeable, allowing you to switch between base types as needed without replacing the flag itself.

Flag bases

Single-sided feather flags are printed on one piece of 110g/m² flag knit material. The design is visible from both sides; however, it appears mirrored on the reverse side.

Double-sided feather flags are made using two printed layers with a block-out liner in between. This prevents show-through and allows for a different design on each side.

All our bases are interchangeable and can be purchased separately from the flag. The opposite is also true, you can buy a flag without the base from any of the flag pages.

Yes, you can. Under the size option on our crest and feather flags, you can choose base-only, which will update the options for you and offer you a base without a flag.

Yes, because they come in pieces to build on-site. They come in a carry case, ready to assemble and disassemble for transport. You won't need to find a vehicle big enough to transport a flag that's a few meters high.

You can but you should know that they can be difficult to read because they move in the breeze.  We think that they work best for strong branding and to add interest to a marketing vignette.  If you have an offer you might prefer to add that to an A board or a sign.

That depends on whether you are choosing a crest flag, a teardrop flag or a feather flag.  To make it easier for you we have an artwork template on every page available in Adobe pdf, Indesign and Illustrator.  These templates offer the exact sizes and let you know how to send your design (usually 300dpi resolution | Scale of 25% (Our templates are supplied at 25% scale) | 3mm bleed on all sides | Supply as a CMYK PDF, preferably PDF/x1a | Outline or embed fonts)

As long as you choose the right base for the right conditions, flags are designed to withstand winds of approximately 13–18 mph without falling over. If the wind gets up, take your flag down.

Yes, you can. The bunting is designed for indoor or outdoor use and is made from two types of flag-knit material. 90gsm Flagknit for single-sided bunting or 260gsm Display Blockout for double-sided bunting.

Yes, you can buy just the flag by itself, as all our bases are interchangeable; any flag would fit on any base.

Just a few minutes once you're familiar with the setup. Connect the poles, thread the flag through the poles and secure it, then pop it into the base and you're done.
