Roller Banners

A roller banner (also called a pull-up or pull-up banner) is a portable display printed with your design, which retracts into a base and extends upwards on a support pole. It’s ideal for exhibitions, events, shops, presentations and promotions.

Each roller banner typically includes the printed graphic, retractable base, support pole and a travel bag for easy storage.

Yes. You can upload your own artwork for custom printing. Ensure that your files are print-ready with the correct dimensions, resolution and colour settings. You can download our guides to help you determine the exact print size, bleed and safe zone. Bear in mind the safe zone near the bottom as the banner and keep this clear of any important content like URLs or social media handles or QR codes, as the banner can retract into the cartridge and content near the bottom can be obscured; and as these are likely to be positioned on the floor from a design perspective bear in mind where the viewer’s eyelevel is going to be.

1. Take the banner out of its carry bag.

2. Pull the graphic gently out of the base.

3. Insert the support pole into the base and hook the top of the banner to the pole.

4. Adjust until the banner is fully extended and taut.

• Handle with care when extending and retracting.

• Wipe with a soft, damp cloth to clean.

• Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

• Store in its carry case when not in use.

• Keep away from damp or extremely humid conditions to protect the print and cartridge mechanism.

Delivery times can be chosen via the pricing grid. You can opt for Express for a faster delivery or choose same-day printing if placing your order before 1 pm. When same-day printing is available, you will see this clearly marked on the pricing grid. This will disappear after the cut-off time.

Roller banners are designed mainly for indoor use. We do offer other types of banners for outdoor use.

At the moment, we do not offer replacement banners for reloading into older cartridges.

It's 1 each. If you selected “2 Designs” and “Quantity 1”, you would receive 1 of Design 1 and 1 of Design 2. So, 2 in total. The product specification and quantity per design will be the same, but will always be the quantity selected multiplied by the number of different designs.

Our budget cartridge takes 800mm x 2000mm or 850mm x 2000mm. Other sizes are available on our classic or wide roller banner products.

Artwork should be supplied in a high-resolution PDF (CMYK colour mode). Include 3mm bleed on all sides and a 50mm safe zone from the trim edge. We recommend a minimum font size of 18pt and a minimum line weight of 2pt.

Yes, retract the banner slowly and evenly to avoid damage. Keep your fingers clear of the edge and ensure the graphic winds back smoothly.

Our budget cartridge roller banners are printed on 440gsm vinyl. Other substrates are available on our classic, premium and wide roller banner products.

We can design your roller banner at an additional cost. Alternatively, you can use our online designer, which is an easy drag & drop canvas.

The top of the roller banner is connected to a firm metal strip, which has a small toggle that loops over the top of the pole. You place the pole in the hole in the cartridge and connect the toggle to the pole at the top so that the banner remains taught.
