Folded Leaflets

A “folded leaflet” refers to a printed sheet that is folded to create multiple panels/pages. This allows you to convey more information than a standard flat flyer while remaining compact and easy to hand out or distribute.

Folded leaflets can be printed on various stocks depending on the finish and feel you want:

• Uncoated papers (lightweight or standard finishes)

• Gloss or Silk papers for a more polished, professional look.

• Paper weights/ranges vary — lighter stocks are best for simple leaflets, heavier stocks are best for a sturdier feel or a more premium finish.

Upload one file. When creating any leaflet, please supply your artwork as a 2 page, double sided PDF. For example, on an A4 folded to A5, page 1 should display pages 4 & 1 of the leaflet and page 2 should display pages 2 & 3

• Roll-Fold — multiple panels rolled over each other, ideal for longer content.

• Double Parallel Fold — folded in half and then in half again in same direction (suitable for many-page leaflets).

• Gate-Fold — outer panels open like gates to reveal inside content, often used for invitations, price lists, or menus.

• W-Fold — folds in a "W" shape, allowing for multiple panels/pages in a compact format.

“Folded leaflets” are typically delivered pre-folded (i.e. ready to hand out).   There is a different product called “creased leaflets” which are supplied flat (pre-creased for folding).

You should choose an uncoated option as these can be written upon.

Supply a double-sided PDF layout. For example, on one page you might place page 4 & page 1, and on the other page is page 2 & page 3 (depending on your fold and final size).

This can be a minefield but folded leaflets printed on certain lighter paper stocks (e.g. 90 gsm, 120 gsm, 130 gsm or 170 gsm), sized between A4 and A6 (or A7) and under 300 gsm are VAT-exempt. You will see any VAT charges on the pricing grid by using the toggle at the top of the page to check.
