Our coasters are crafted to perfection, measuring 90 x 90mm with sleek 9mm rounded corners. You have the option to select either a sturdy 3mm hardboard base or a resilient 3mm MDF base, complemented by an additional 1mm cork layer for added protection.

Featuring a durable and high-gloss finish, our coasters are designed to withstand daily use with ease. With a heat-resistant coating, you can enjoy your hot beverages without worrying about damage to the coaster.

We utilise sublimation printing, a cutting-edge method that transfers designs seamlessly into the material using ink and heat, ensuring vibrant and long-lasting prints.

Pro Tip: There is a margin of error for movement on all coasters. This means that even if your design is perfectly centred when you submit it, there is a chance that it may shift slightly during printing. We, therefore, don't recommend the use of borders and line borders.

How To Set Up Design Files For Printed Coasters

Transfer printing is a method where your design is first printed onto a special transfer paper and then applied to the product using heat and pressure. This process allows for vibrant, full-colour results and is ideal for detailed images, gradients, and complex artwork. It’s commonly used for textiles, tote bags, and promotional items where high-resolution visuals are a priority. 

Print Method: Heat Transfer  

  • Colours: Full Colour (CMYK)  
  • Resolution: 300dpi  
  • Graphics: Raster Images & Vector  
  • File Format: PDF  

Design Online 

We’ve made creating your artwork even easier with our Design Online tool. Simply upload your logo, text, or graphics and position them on the canvas to create a ready-to-print file—no fuss. 

Artwork Upload 

If you’d prefer to use your own design software to create your artwork, we’ve got some tips to help you design your print ready file. 

Top Tips:  

  • Use high-resolution images (minimum 300dpi), embedded in the PDF.  
  • Use a minimum font size of 8pt to ensure legibility when printed.  
  • Outline all fonts, or ensure they are embedded in the PDF.  
  • Avoid overlapping paths—combine elements into one continuous graphic.  
  • Outline all strokes by converting them to shapes.  
  • Ink may spread slightly during transfer—avoid designs with closely spaced elements that could blur or merge.  
  • White ink can be printed, so please ensure that any areas not intended for print are set to transparent rather than white.
