Custom Foil Greetings Cards - Add Some Sparkle Instantly!

We love these foil greetings cards because they look so fun and yet so chic.  If you want to produce a greeting card for a birthday, promotion or Christmas they will stand out. Make every occasion a special one with foil greeting card printing. Choose from either a 350gsm Uncoated or a luxuriously thick 350gsm silk paper with a soft touch lamination to the outside of the card. Your choice of foil colour is then applied on top of the lamination. The soft velvety feel of the lamination and the high sheen of the foil combine to create an incredibly tactile finish.

Available with:

Gold, Silver, Copper, Red or Blue Foil and a choice of white or red envelopes.

How To Set Up Design Files For Foiled Products

Artwork templates are available for download to assist with setting up your files. These include the panel widths required along with the correct orientations to ensure your artwork backs up correctly.
For foiled products, we require artwork to be supplied in the following order:

Page 1 is the outer cover of the greetings card
Page 2 is the inner spread of the greetings card
Page 3 is the Foil artwork for the front cover
Page 4 is blank.

Please note: Foil application has registration tolerances of approximately ±3 mm. It is not therefore recommended that small text (10pt minimum) or thin lines (2pt minimum) are foiled as a perfect register cannot be guaranteed. The foiling should not be represented on page 1. Slight misalignment of the foil could result in lines or 'shadows' of this foil representation being visible on your final product

  • Supply as a CMYK PDF, preferably in PDF/x1a format

  • Outline or embed fonts

  • 300dpi resolution

  • We require that any foil is at least 3mm from the trim edge to achieve the best results.

  • Vector graphics is required for the foiling page, we cannot accept bitmaps for the foiling page.

  • The minimum font size is 10pt and line weights should be at least 2pt.

  • Serif fonts are advised against as the serifs may contain elements that are not 2pt in thickness.
