At Tradeprint, we believe sustainability shouldn’t stop when a banner comes down. That’s why we’re launching a pilot Banner Return Scheme, giving customers a practical way to recycle both PVC and PVC-free banners responsibly.
Traditional PVC banners have long presented environmental challenges: they’re difficult to recycle, derived from fossil-based materials, and can release harmful substances at end-of-life. By shifting to PVC-free alternatives, stronger, lighter, easier to recycle, and with a lower carbon footprint, we’re helping move print towards a more circular model.
But switching materials is only part of the solution. To make a real impact, we need to support customers in closing the loop.
The scheme is designed to reduce the environmental impact of printed banners by diverting waste from landfill and supporting customers in making more informed, sustainable choices. It also forms part of Tradeprint’s wider effort to build credibility through transparent action and measurable progress. Importantly, it supports our commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards and aligns with our roadmap to reach Net Zero by 2040.
Anthony Rowell Sales & Customer Success Director | Sustainability lead
Our pilot scheme sets up convenient drop-off hubs in collaboration with our partner Antalis, where customers can return used banners for responsible recycling.
Traditional PVC banners have long posed environmental challenges. They’re hard to recycle, rely on fossil-based materials, and can release harmful substances at end-of-life. By encouraging a shift to PVC-Free banners, which are lighter, easier to recycle, and have a lower carbon footprint, we’re moving towards a smarter, circular future. But simply switching materials isn’t enough. We need to help customers close the loop, too.
You can return your banner to one of our dedicated recycling centres, in collaboration with Antalis. Alternatively, you’re welcome to drop it off directly at Tradeprint HQ in Dundee, Scotland.

Each banner is printed in rich, high-definition full colour, then precision-trimmed for a clean, professional finish straight out of the box.More than just PVC-free, it’s a smarter, stronger solution — designed for the demands of modern signage, and engineered to outlast.
