About the Role:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Operator to join our Pre-Press team and help us continue our impressive growth by delivering a world-class level of service to our clients. The main role of this position is to check that files have been supplied correctly for print according to the relevant artwork service. This isn’t a graphic design position but technical understanding and a good eye for detail are crucial. As a team we need to continuously develop our skills, we value shared knowledge and group learning and it’s important to us that the successful candidate is passionate about this too.


  • Develop a solid technical knowledge of what is required to ensure files are suitable for print
  • Providing expert level artwork advice to clients
  • Meet all deadlines within the day and monitor lists to ensure this is achieved
  • Taking ownership of issues and challenges that arise
The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • Experience in file handling, checking, preparing files for print
  • First class communication skills
  • The ability to remain calm and focused when things get busy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A flair for working with IT packages including a knowledge of Adobe design packages.
  • An enthusiasm to work towards both individual and team-oriented goals
  • Knowledge of the printing industry and Pre-Press workflows would be beneficial however training will be provided

This role is a permanent full-time role, working 40 hours a week over a variety of shift patterns. Shift work is essential for this position.
