This way of producing envelopes has none of the limitations of a pre-made envelope. It is possible to print on every part of the envelope, and even print on the inside if that is required. The disadvantage is that the cost of making envelopes from printed sheets is expensive for smaller runs.

In designing for Printed then made Envelopes it is only necessary to consider the finished envelope layout, and how the design envisaged will fit on to it.
